Meet Diana Protopapa
FOUNDER & CEO | ProtoStrategies
An accomplished lobbyist and political strategist, Diana Protopapa has worked in the legislative and regulatory space since 2000. After getting her start in policy and politics as a legislative aide in her home state of Ohio, Diana moved to Colorado and earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Denver.
Throughout her career, Diana has worked as a public policy director for the Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative, the director of political affairs and education for the Colorado Medical Society, and a partner for Frontline Public Affairs. In 2022, she founded the Denver-based government relations and consulting firm ProtoStrategies.
Diana has become well known for her ability to get complex legislation over the finish line based on her strong relationships with elected officials and collaborative approach with key stakeholders. She has a proven track record of success in securing state funding and passing substantive legislation on behalf of her clients.
When she’s not working for her clients at the Capitol, Diana enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, reading, and spending time with her family.
